The H10 Madison is the new 4* superior establishment that H10 Hotels has opened just metres from the cathedral, in the heart of Barcelona’s historic centre. The hotel has 101 bright and spacious rooms, a restaurant and cocktail bar, two meeting rooms and an amazing terrace with heated plunge pool and unmatched views of the cathedral. The H10 Madison can be found on Dr. Joaquim Pou street, between Via Laietana and Plau de la Seu, just next to the Barcelona Cathedral. This exclusive establishment is located in a historic, seven-floor, Novecentista building that has been totally refurbished. The interior design, crafted by the renowned studio of Lázaro Rosa-Violán, is focused on restoring some of the building’s original features which, together with its high ceilings, gives the project an air of grandeur.
The project has shown total respect for the essence of the building, which dates back to 1928, and has made use of high-quality yet simple materials and elements inspired in Barcelona’s industrial design, to create elegant and timeless spaces.
For example, the carpeting in the hotel’s corridors, which mimics the hydraulic flooring of typical Barcelona flats, and the window shutters made from upcycled wood from the atrium. Other examples include the raffia and natural fabrics typical of classic Catalan furniture which have been used to cover the walls of the rooms.

The restaurant also offers an exquisite breakfast buffet and carefully selected hot dishes made to order with high-quality, fresh products.
There’s no doubt, however, that guests will be most surprised by the impressive Terrasa del Gòtic, located on the top floor with panoramic views of the Cathedral and the city. It’s the perfect outdoor spot to enjoy a delicious cocktail and signature tapas in spring and summer.
The terrace also offers an exclusive area for hotel guests with heated plunge pool and solarium, where they can relax and enjoy Barcelona’s pleasant climate after a day out in the city.
