Kensington School
Descripción
We are one of the oldest established British International Schools in Spain. The school has grown from one class in 1966, when Edward Paul Giles MA Cantab began teaching five students, to the current roll of some 250 pupils.
Located in the quiet area of Pedralbes, for half a century this family-run school has been successfully offering a pure British curriculum, from Nursery to University, to the international community.
Students are able to achieve their full potential due to small classes, very experienced British trained teachers and a happy atmosphere in which to learn. Our impressive examination results mean that our students gain access to prestigious universities all around the world with the majority reading for degrees in the United Kingdom.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II honoured the school by performing the official opening ceremony of our purpose built school. Facilities include a gymnasium, sports pitch, theatre, canteen and ICT suite on the ground floor, Junior School classrooms on the first floor, Senior School Arts, Languages and Humanities subject areas plus a library on the second floor with the top floor being devoted to four dedicated science laboratories and a sixth form common room.
We remain very much a family school today, the owners being Mr Giles’ sons who are keen to promote the values and principles established by their father.
