With the expansion of our firm, we require the immediate hire of a Commercial Lawyer to join our offices in the center of Madrid.
Role:
Management and Development of the English-Speaking Department (DHI)
Profile:
- Citizenship: British and/or American, proficiency in Spanish
- Education: Law degree, specialized master’s is of advantage
- Minimum of 3 years accredited experience
- Commercial and proactive, with an advanced capacity for relationship-building and empathy
- Consistent and disciplined, with a high level of organization
- Capacity for communication and initiative; positive, dynamic and ambitious
- Used to working to achieve set goals
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel
Responsibilities:
- Executing the Strategic Plan of the DHI (English-Speaking Department)
- Screening and management of contacts
- Development of budgets
- Monitoring and managing queries
- Acquiring new business opportunities
- Supporting the legal department

The mutual membership of the Chamber has provided us with a great platform to talk. It gives people the opportunity to know you and trust you. We have also taken the opportunity to sponsor various successful Chamber events and increase our brand visibility, as well as speaking to many decision makers in business and government. Hays has now joined the British Chamber in nearly all of the 33 countries from which we operate. The cost of annual corporate membership is a lot lower than a single advert in most media and in my opinion we get a tremendous return on investment. Apart from which, I enjoy it!
