Andalucia Christmas Cocktail

Yesterday, Monday 18th December, the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain held its annual Christmas Cocktail in sunny Andalucia, together with its esteemed member of the chamber, Caixa Bank.
Derek A. Langley, Regional Vice-President of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain, set the stage by welcoming all attendees and providing insights into the Chamber's upcoming events and its recent activities. He also provided the guests with enlightening facts on Andalucia’s and Malaga’s economy, referencing the key drivers in its growth today, such as tourism, instruction, agriculture, technology services and logistics. As well as talking about British investment in Spain and its significance.
Then Maryna Yatsenyuk, Director of Marbella stores, took over the stage and talked about the history of Caixa Bank and introduced Hola Bank, a program aimed at international clients, offering a high-value financial support, advice and guidance service tailored to meet their needs in Spain.
Caixa Bank is the leading financial group in the Spanish market, comprised of banking business, insurance activity and investments in international banks and leading companies in the services sector.
It’s a financial group with a socially responsible, long-term universal banking model, based on quality, trust, and specialisation. This can be seen through ‘la Caixa’ Foundation set up to improve people’s quality of life, build on a better and fairer society by providing opportunities for those most in need. It aims to develop lasting solutions, respond to research challenges, and make science and culture accessible to all.
After the remarks, the gathering changed into a lively networking event.
By taking advantage of the chance to have deep discussions and make new business contacts, attendees created an environment that was engaging for everyone.
